The St. Paul Conspiracy was originally launched in hardcover back in 2006. At that time, I sold both The St. Paul Conspiracy and Deadly Stillwater out of the trunk of my car to bookstore signing events and at bookclubs and libraries. I drove all over the midwest putting quite a few miles on my car and spending a lot of time away from my family. Thankfully e-books became a hit and changed publishing forever. The books in the series were converted to e-books and now are available on multiple sites. Later I wrote First Case - Murder Alley as a prequel of sorts to answer many of the questions I was getting regarding the characters in the series and launched box sets and audio versions.
Books in the McRyan Mystery Series have hit both the New York Times and USA Today Bestseller lists. Generally, I write about 2 books per year so hopefully Mac, Wire and the rest of the crew will be back in future books with plots that are swirling around in my head. I'm currently writing an ongoing second series that has become a bestselling hit called the Tori Hunter Series set in Manchester Bay with my publisher Bookoture. The St. Paul Conspiracy has been translated into German by Amazon Crossing and released with the title "The Minnesota Conspiracy." In 2014 it was the #1 bestselling book on Amazon in Germany and it continues to be a bestseller in its category. Deadly Stillwater has also been translated into German by Amazon Crossing and it is available on Amazon.
